Assignment 2: Heuristic Evaluation

Description: An Heuristic evaluation is an expert evaluation of a website, application, software or device. You will determine your test criteria then perform an evaluation and present findings and recommendations.

Assignment 3: Usability Test Plan

Description: Prepare a usability test plan in which you determine the test goals and criteria, logistics, recruiting needs, test scenarios and etc. for a test you will be conducting in the usability lab.

Assignment 4: Conduct Usability Test

Description: Execute your usability test with a minimum of 3 participants. Using the usability lab equipment and software, gather test data and notes in preparation for analysis.

Assisgnment 5: Analysis of Finding Report

Description: Perform analysis of your data and prepare preliminary findings and recommendations.

Assignment 6: Accessibility Evaluation Report

Description: Perform an accessibility evaluation on your subject, determining how well the application or device meets WCAG Standards. You will write a report including recommendations for enhancements to fix any problems you find.

Assignment 7: Presentation of Usability & Accessibility Findings

Description: Incorporate findings from your heuristic evaluation, usability and accessibility tests prepare an executive presentation describing the test, test methods, key findings and recommendations. Use video footage, screenshots, photos, and quotes from participants to prove your point. Relate the findings and recommendations to usability best practices. Demonstrate value and return on investment to your client/customer.
